writing this on a japanese computer: buttons buttons

always an interesting experience--using a computer with buttons randomly chucked about. the @ button, for example, lies next to the k and god forbid you want to QUOTE someone...

im finally comfortable at my new school--and this is good. if everything goes as it has--i'll be perfectly settled here in another 2 weeks. I'll even be back at my favorite school, so far, in time for my birthday--my gut tells me they're planning something... which would probably make me cry. or something.

i have a new issue of my...erm..magazine about ready--expect literary brilliance. blinding brilliance. diamonds on high powered searchlights aimed at your EYES brilliance. jerks.

p.s. we were doing so WELL there with our blog--up to like...20 visitors a day..haha..which may not THRILL many, but it makes me happy...but i guess we've been lax.
apologies.

more pictures to come. hopefully insanity will follow this posting..and pictures will be taken.

Hey man,

I'm heading to Fujisawa in a couple of weeks - just found out today i'm going to be staying in a Nova apartment there!

Can you tell me a little about the place?

I wonder if they'll put me in the same office as you?
dearest alex,
chances are you'll be staying in the famous/infamous AF building with about 40 other foreignors.

this is both good and bad--good because it will allow you a VERY easy learning curve--you'll have 40 people to ask "where is the.." or "how do i get to the.." etc.

Very handy--also a bit dramatic sometimes as everyone knows everyone knows everyone.

Generally you'll meet some very nice people--I liked the people I lived with. I moved because, well, I just got a new job and I had to. THAT and they overcharge you for the apartment. You will be paying 600 usd a month, about, for the opportunity to live in a rather dirty small apartment that you'll be sharing with two other people. Its a good place to start though.

anything else you would like to know?

flick flick flicker, and go..............

I retreated in dissapointment to my car that was parked in staff parking to smoke a cigarette and listen to tom waits on the way home. I felt a bit of ecstacy. I felt very close to my surroundings. Threatened at the gas station, and admiring of the city in which I live. The road constructions, never quite done here, are we? the meddling men with no where to go, the diurnal downtown streets, the neons greens and reds directing me safely home once again.
